We were delighted to have been entrusted with the delivery of the refurbishment of social spaces within the confines of Burleigh Court Conference Centre and Hotel, based at Loughborough University.

This project was completed and handed over in Q3 of 2024.

The project introduced several key enhancements to the facility:

• Fifty The Street: A new 140-cover restaurant located in a repurposed courtyard. In here we installed timber cladding to the ceiling of the steel structure and vertical boards to the servery area incorporating cladded sliding pocket doors that enables the servery to appear concealed, a new front and back bar were installed along with a tea and coffee station complete with sliding doors to achieve an aesthically pleasing finish that enhances the space's ambiance.
• Conference and Cabaret Venue: The former restaurant space has now been transformed into a versatile venue for up to 250 users. This consisted of the installation of a new front and back bar, buffet counter, feature wall panelling, skirtings boards, doorsets and a large central serving island.
• Welcome Lounge: The hotel entrance lobby has been completely transformed, replacing the existing reception area with an inviting new welcome lounge. Works included installing a full height bespoke feature bookcase, wall panelling to form a media wall and curved panelling to the face of the mezzanine floor.

It was a pleasure to have worked on this development and see the creative vision come to fruition.
